Two- colored linocut by
PIET BONGERS
(born in '24). I remember his work.
It was charming in a good sense, somewhat "modern" (for those days). Also this linocut (made in '57) was an exception for he was a painter actually. We like this print. (size 14 x 10,2 cm) |

This monotype by
COR DE NOBEL
is from his very
early years ('51). He was 21 at that time and still studying at the academy in ROTTERDAM. He used all the materials he could get, "off the street" so to say (by lack of money). The paper used for this work is very thin and crinkeled while working on it, but that makes it lively, is n't it? (size 11,5 x 19,2 cm)(Owner S. van der Ster) |

Here is a work that is puzzling: it is standing like a rock
though it is so small and yet it has the qualities of transparency. WIM MOTZ (born in 1900) who created it, was 57 years old then. He was a great admirer of chinese calligraphics. He was a real "connoisseur". (size14,2 x 21,2 cm) |

Sometimes there were expositions in gallery .31 of
short durance and with small work. In one or another way this tiny print by BORIS KLIMT was NEVER SHOWN IN THE GALLERY. (size 14,7 x 10,5 cm) |

FRED ALDENBERG
was an art-teacher at the
"Landbouw Hogeschool" in Wageningen. In his spare time he painted huge abstract gouaches, expressionistic works in light colors which were very attractive to look at. No date and no signature. (size 14,7 x 11 cm) |
