| Can you read this text easily once the background image loads? Probably not. With some background images it is almost impossible to read text over the background image. At the bottom of this page is the font color sample text so you can see how various colors look against this background. |

As you can see, it is difficult to read text over a tiled background which contains a lot of colors, and with colors that have a lot of contrast, it is almost impossible. The easiest was to get around this problem is to put all of your text within a table and use a background color for the table which complements the tiled background image. You may have to try several before you get the right one. code for including a background image on your pages is that in
the <BODY> code you simply
add the name of your background image: Use suitable colors for your background, text, and links; not the ones I have shown in this code. It is best to set your page background color to one that matches your background image. Otherwise, it's possible that no one can read your text until your background image loads. I borrowed the background image on this page from Enchanted Backgrounds. Here are

so you can follow the webring links for even more images. Be
sure to credit the source of any graphics you use, and be sure
to copy the graphic and put it at your site. It's not nice to
