Lord,
The very concept of Earth Week, and
striving to clean up our world, seems like such
an overwhelming task.
We're trying to recycle, and re-use,
and many times it's hard to break old habits of
just throwing things in the garbage.
Today, Lord, may we quietly search our
hearts, and do our part in cleaning up our world,
- one step at time. One of the first ways to
begin, is by looking around our school, and
noting the amount of litter that is cluttering up
our cafeteria, classrooms where people eat their
lunch, and all over our school property.
May today, Lord, we stop and think
before we are so quick to throw around our
garbage.
If each one of us put things away in
their proper place, what a shiny, bright, and
clean school we would have.
Amen
