Well, Lord, today's the day - GRADUATION!!!
IT'S FINALLY HERE!
The official ceremony
that marks an ending
- and yet
a NEW BEGINNING IN OUR LIVES!
Lord, as a graduate, I would like to take this opportunity to do a rare
thing - I would like to give YOU thanks for my many blessings as a (name
of School) student.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of (name of School) - a place where students
are able to grow and blossom in freedom, love and peace.
Thank you for the gift of the (name of School) staff, who travel along
the journey of High School with us - sometimes in front of us leading the
way; sometimes behind us to catch us when we fall; and sometimes beside
us when we need a friend. Our teachers are always striving to light up
the path of wisdom and knowledge for each one of us.
Thank You, Lord, for the special gift of our friends, who have shared
all of our good times and our bad times.
Most of all, thank You, Lord, for all of the gifts and talents that
You have given to each one of us.
Lord, may we open up our hearts to receive Your Holy Blessings on this
very special day.
As we close one door, and open up another, may we always remember that
God is at the center of all that we do and all that we say.
