Dear Best Friend,

I used to look at you and smile! No one could make me laugh like you did! We shared so many great times!

I look at you now and I cry! Drugs are clouding your mind! You walk around in a daze! You don't care about anything anymore, except your next high!

You say you're not addicted! You say you haven't changed! Yet you quickly reach for your next hit of acid!

You tell me not to worry! You tell me to leave you alone! You tell me that your life is great, and that drugs are the answer!

Dearest Lord, I am feeling so sad! My friend has changed from the sweet, kind, nice person he used to be! He has become selfish - only caring about himself! I can't reach him!

Please watch over him, Lord!

Take care of him, and keep him safe from harm! May he come to realize that drugs are NOT THE ANSWER, THEY ARE ONLY SYMPTOMS OF SEVERE PROBLEMS!

Help is just a prayer, a friend, a counselor away!

LORD, PLEASE, PLEASE LET HIM SEE THAT!
