Short messages
Behold the MAN !
by Pastor Don Mangus
As a babe he drove a king to desperation. His name is Jesus. Behold "The Man" !
What do you do with this Jesus who is called "The Christ" determines your destiny for time and eternity. These three conditions must be met for you to become a Christian:
1. Confess you are a sinful creature. 2. You must realize God's perfect hatred for sin. 3. Take God at His word and receive His son. REMEMBER:
This short message was written by Rev. Don Mangus, Pastor of Landmark Independent Baptist Church, Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
As a boy he puzzled the greatest doctors in the Land.
As a man he ruled the very forces of nature.
He walked upon the water as upon a pavement of glass.
He commanded demons and angels and they did His bidding.
He never wrote a book, yet libraries of books have been written about Him.
He never wrote a line of poetry, yet the universe sings His praise.
He never wrote a song, yet Heaven and Earth are filled with songs about Him.
He never founded a college, yet He has more students sit at His feet than all the educators together.
He never studied medicine, yet He has healed more broken hearts than all the medical records of earth could possibly enumerate.
He never marshalled an army, yet He has had more loyal followers who would march at His orders into the very pit of death than all the Alexanders and Napoleons of all ages.
He is the only Man who had the power to lay down His life and take it up again.
The grave could not hold Him.
Lord of Heaven, Lord of Earth and Lord of all.
Born a helpless Babe and led like a criminal to slaughter.
He is nonetheless very God.
The Lord of all creation and Ruler of the hosts of Heaven and Earth.
You must take Him now as your Savior or face Him as your judge.
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting Life; and he that believeth not shall not see life; but the wrath o God abideth on Him" John 3:36

If you depend upon church membership or baptism or how good you are or anything else outside the Blood of the Lord Jesus you face a hopeless, endless, tormenting Eternity without Christ because God says:
"The life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."
Leviticus 17:11
