"Kaleidoscopes"
Part 1

(please give the audio file a few minutes to load...it will start AUTOMATICALLY!)

I have a collection of kaleidoscopes
sitting on a shelf.
As I look into one made of wood
I can almost see myself
in the reflective mirrors that are within
with bits of red and blue,
and other colors of the rainbow
I can see when looking through.

I also have one made of brass.
It shines so clean and bright.
And when I'm looking into the tube
it's like viewing a starry night
with tiny specks of sparkling gold
surrounded by the black.
And for a moment I can almost dream
that you are coming back.

My life is like a kaleidoscope
with all it's little pieces.
Sometimes I have the love I need
and other times it ceases.
When you touch me with your tenderness
or whisper in my ear,
the pattern of love begins to form,
like those crystals do in there.
