	Meanwhile, away from the celebration, Arslan is seated on the battlements with Azurai when Darun finally finds him there. He looks very troubles and unsure, going as far as to ask Darun who he is.
	If Arslan holds some doubts as to who he is after his meeting with Hirumes, Darun, himself, holds none. He believes in his heart that Arslan is his beloved ruler, but never tells the boy that he is the legitimate ruler of Pars... All that is of no consequence to him, for his loyalty is all for Arslan.
	Faced with such honesty, and such friendship as he had never experienced before, Arslan starts to cry on the battlements, turning away to hide his tears and look at the vast expanses of his Kingdom.
	Jaswant, the Shindran spy, was released, and left for Shindra Kingdom immediately.
	In Shindra Kingdom, the King Karikara dies alone, calling for his sons. He tells the High Priest of the Kingdom his last wishes before closing his eyes forever.
	The next morning, Gadevy and Rajendra are facing themselves on the battlefield, in one more battle that could possibly decide the fate of the throne of Shindra.
	As they exchange insults, we learn that while they are both the King's son, Rajendra is the son of a slave girl and Gadevy the son of his legitimate wife, the Queen.
	Gadevy is outraged by Rajendra's comments: he does believe that he is the legitimate heir to the Kingdom of Shindra.
	Rajendra, after thoroughly insulting his half-brother, pushes him to start the attack.
	Because of the terms of the friendship treaty, Rajendra's forces having been attacked by third party, Prince Arslan's army has to defend the Shindran Prince and fight at his side.
