Christopher Francis Chong Song Chye

Actually, I won't tell you
everything about me. Only my mother, wife and God know everything. But I
can give you a brief summery...
- I was born and raised a Catholic in the tropical country
of Singapore. (no it's not somewhere in China. Please check your
atlas.)
- That wonderful day was August 13th 1975.
- Did a whold bunch of stuff until Summer of 89. (like
meeting my future wife in sunday school)
- When I arrived in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
- Did more stuff like going to high school and being a
good kid. (generally speaking :)
- Later went back to Spore to spend 3 years in the Singapore
Armed Forces.
- Married my lovely wife Fiona
in 95.
- Help her give birth to Xavier, our son. ("breath...breath...breath..."
for 10 and a half hours is pretty exhausting:)
- Currently halfway through my studies towards a Batchlors
of Fine Arts.
- Hoping to do professional photography. (did you
checkout my on-line gallery?)
- But will gladly do newspaper routes for extra cash...
I know that's not much of a story, but I'm happy
and that's all that really matters!
Here are some other things
you might or might not want to know...
- I drive an 89 Ford F-150, with a gas guzzling V8 in it.
- I'm racially Chinese.
- But mainly Canadian.
- I like black and white photography, the Macintosh computer,
Japanese animation, retro music and chicken rice.
- I really love my wife and bestest friend Fiona.
- I would like a bank account with at least a constast
4 digits in it. (not including the decimal places)
- I'm left handed.
- My parents live in the next town.
- I also enjoy reading the adventures of Agatha Christie's
Hercule Poirot.
- I would like my prints to be as technically superiour
as those of Ansel Adams.
- I own a Power Macintosh 200MHz.
- I had a Mac LC running at 16MHz.
- I think art in general is too complicated, and we should
stick to the aesthetics of form and material instead of over-rated socal
comments.
- I dislike Bill Gates and his way of doing business.
SMACK!
That's all I can think of right now. I add to it as I go
along I guess. Cheerio!
Note: If you like, you can read my statement
on art and life in general and odd-ball texts
from years gone by...
