OBSESSED?
Ask Yourself These Questions? (But Not Out Loud)
1. Does the computer you're using at this moment have "Nikita" wallpaper? Is a slideshow/screensaver of Michael and Nikita images set to begin one minute after you stop using your mouse? Have you assigned Michael's, Nikita's, or Birkoff''s voice to every event on your computer, i.e. when you boot up does it say "Ain't technology beautiful?" or "That is not an option" when you make a mistake?
2. When you're out in the "real" world, do you tend to say things like "Have you heard, he/she got cancelled yesterday", rather than he/she got killed? Do you refer to info as "intel".
3. Is Ops starting to appeal to you?
4. Do you prefer the "other", darker side of Michael?
5. Have you "hooked" several friends and total strangers on the show?
6. If they show a preview for a rerun at the end of an episode, are you depressed until they air a new episode? And then do you watch the rerun anyway?
7. Do you take your phone off the hook, turn your answering machine down/off or tell people not to call you when the show is on?
8. Do you see symbolism everywhere? (All that black and white!)
9. Do you analyze every word, every breath, every look that each character makes?
10. Are you still trying to figure out how Birkoff got into Section?
11. Has it ever crossed your mind that a. Ops could be Nikita's father b.Maddy might have had an affair with Michael c. Michael's son is still alive?
12. Do you think of fan fiction as a new genre, and as such, should be offered at your college.
13. Are you currently writing fan fiction?
14. Are you thinking of naming any of your yet unborn children "Birkoff" or "Seymour"?
15. Do you spend your time online answering these types of questions?
16. Do you know the name of each episode and can you recite them in order? Have you given tapes of the first season to a friend and insisted that they watch them in order or not at all?
Here's a bonus question and an excuse to put this song on my web page.
