Minoru Osaka Sensei started training Aikido in 1984 under Shihan Steven Seagal Sensei (7th Dan) who promoted him to Shodan. He has also trained under the well known Aikido and Calligraphy Master Seiseki Abe Sensei (10th Dan). Prior to becoming Chief Instructor of the San Fernando Valley Aikido Club, Osaka Sensei served as the Assistant Chief Instructor under Haruo Matsuoka Sensei (5th Dan) at Tenshin Bugei Gakuen. Osaka Sensei was also in charge of the Children Aikido Program. Osaka Sensei has traveled as Matsuoka Sensei's Assistant to Aikido seminars in the United States and countries around the world such as Brazil, France and Russia. Osaka Sensei moved recently to Arizona.
