Shodo

'the way of writing' is the Japanese art of brush calligraphy.

Shodo and Martial Arts are closely connected in History and Style. Both require certain breathing techniques to be properly executed.

Minoru Osaka has been practicing this art since childhood. He has always been curious about Japanese calligraphy. When he was a little boy in Japan, he used to go to the living room in his house after school and, using many old newspapers, practiced the calligraphies that he learned at school. He did not like to write calligraphy at school very much instead, he spend hours practicing at home. During those times he realized that breathing is very important when writing Calligraphy.

Minoru Osaka is now introducing his art work publicly for the

first time.
