Forslund Design / Sj�express build! Indeed, best of both worlds. Built around '25 10,5 x 2,25 m intensively used by previous owner Per Degerfors from Stockholm-Sollentuna Sweden. Nice guy, who realy loved to see this boat being 'saved' and prepared for the future. As this is our first 'Swede', we realy have a crush for her. We raced her only a few times on the Frysian lakes before taking her out of the water and starting the restoration process. Since autumn '98 under restoration, we only expect to set 'sail' somewhere per end 2000. | |||||||||||||||||||

Once you started the restoration process you never know where to stop, do you? First scraping the varnish, removing a(non original) rear cabin, now we're also looking to remove the steering cabin as we expect to know how the original steering cabin must have looked like....? Then we're adding original seating, clothes lockers, steering equipment, polishing all the 'durkar' (swedish for ..) .... etc. And yes in the end one usually better should have ordered one new, as this certainly financially would have been more sound. But okay as they say "it was fun doing it". Would you believe me when I said that the basic condition is "EXCELLENT" ? Most likely not, but anyhow it is true! | m/y MALALA (prev.
