Eighth and final story to feature The Master as portrayed by Roger Delgado. Due to the actors untimely death in June 1973, the character of The Master is not to reappear until The Deadly Assassin in 1976, at which point Peter Pratt assumes the role of the emaciated Time Lord in his final regeneration.
In the final episode, the Daleks make their ninth appearance. The conclusion of this story segues directly into Planet of the Daleks.
