Fearful of the wrath of the Black Guardian, Romana opts to change her appearance by forcing herself to regenerate. Demonstrating considerable control over her regenerative process, Romana adopts the physical characteristics of Lady Astra of Atrios (5F) for her new incarnation.
The thirteenth Dalek story, featuring the now famous scene in which the Doctor taunts a Dalek about its inability to climb.

Due to the interruption of a BBC strike, filming of this story was never completed. Apart from the scenes used in The Five Doctors, the abandoned footage remained unseen until its triumphant video release in 1992, in which ‘Eighties Who’ producer John Nathan-Turner linked all available filmed sequences with narration by Tom Baker.
