DOCTOR WHO: SEASON EIGHTEEN
<<< S E R I A L S 5 N - 5 V >>> |
|---|
This story heralds the arrival of Eighties Who and the beginning of John Nathan-Turners 9-year reign as producer. The new era makes its presence known by a fresh look and sound: Tom Baker is forced to wear makeup, and the accoustic instrumental ensemble scores are replaced with electronic soundtracks. The new starfield title sequence and neon logo are accompanied by Peter Howells new arrangement of the title music, the first major re-vamp of the original Ron Grainer/Delia Derbyshire theme tune.
