Schools

Here are some recommendations for places to go to continue your education. If you know of more please send them to me. For my own ease of updating the site, I am copying and pasting email. When I do this, it sometimes loses it's formatting. If the writing looks sloppy it is my own fault, not the composer of the email.

OK, here is a neat site. Click here to go to a site that lets you punch in the kind of school you are interested in. You give it the criteria and it spits out schools! Special thanks to Patricia Cortinas and Clara Ashley for this one.

www.kaplancollege.com has been recommended by Larry Rouse.
He says

" Title IV, Many funding options available, even a 100% option.
Although Network Administrator is not on the curriculm. MCSE is at $200.00 a credit hour for those in the Bachelor of Science in Management/Information Technology Management Otherwise it is $350.00 a credit hour. No Cisco or A+, Although you could get your employer to pay for it once you have your MCSE and are working in a IT position.
"

Here's one I think many of you will be interested in.
I have decided to go ahead and get my certifications without worrying too much about the degree at this time. I have found a great place to receive my training. The web site is www.smartcertify.com. You can get the training for the A+, N+, and MCSE for only $2999. A whole lot lees than what we were going to pay to Masters! There is also financial aid available; you can stay with Sallie Mae if you choose. The phone # is 877/872-4646. I spoke with Jim Fisher, and he was very helpful! I'm sure he can give some other students the same help that he gave to me!

This is from Patricia Cortinas. Sorry for the slow posting :-(
Hey, I E-mailed you, I'm not sure if you got it though. If you want to add more schools, University of Phoenix, Capella University and Mission College. The link to Mission College is Mission College, Santa Clara The link for Capella University is Capella University | Online education built around you All of these schools offer online distance education. Mission offers courses to obtain a degree in Systems Administration and is only $11.00 a unit. It is the only school I have heard of that offers S. A. Thank You and God Bless, Patricia Cortinas - with the help of Clarascomputers group.

Mission College in Santa Clara (pretty place)
Capella (all the links work!)

From Kinta Telano. Thanks Kinta!
Hi, I am writing to recommend a school that Masters students might be interested in checking out. http://www.strayer.edu/online/frtr.htm They offer associates and bachelors in cis and also in networking, as well as masters degrees in info systems. Federal financial aid is available. Also, this college site lists many links to private funding for education, for students who are not attending a school participating in federal aid programs: http://www.regents.edu/loans.htm With Best Regards!
