- Sigh
- Sigh Part 2
- Are you only real to me?
- Loss of Courage
- North, South, and In Between
- We Danced in Each Other
Sigh
We walked along the path together
Hand in hand we smiled
You complimented me and I did you
A match made in heaven
I knew what it was to love again
And you did too
sigh
Time passed and the trees grew old
Their beautiful leaves fell to the ground
Creating a garden of color
I clung so close to you
There were no second chances
I filled you with love
Sigh
Sigh Part 2
We walked along the path together
Ages ago you touched my heart
Time flew by in a breeze
It wasn't any particular moment
We talked for hours
Sigh
I still didn't understand
But it wasn't any particular moment
I just kind of knew
My heart told me to let it go
My soul whispered to me it will end in love
Sigh
Always listen to your soul and your heart
Letting go of you was hard
But I knew it would be okay
I knew in the deepest part of my being
It would be okay
sigh
I like the way
your heart swam in mine.
The way you danced in my eyes.
You held my hand close to you.
Our bodies mingled in the rain
And I wonder at times,
Did I dream you up?
Are you only real to me?
I like the way you talk to me,
So sweet and caring.
I like the way you touch my heart
With every whisper.
The way you take such pleasure,
In making me smile.
I still wonder sometimes,
If your only real to me.
Loss of Courage
Andrea Jane Currier
She sings to herself at night.
That melody that is so sweet.
She is alone so only she can hear.
The shadows surround her soft body.
In her place she weeps out loud.
And when she goes out,
The light plays off her face.
They don't see her tear stained face.
Dawn turns to dusk,
And her soul longs to be touched.
The tenderness that will set her free,
The romance of true love, lost.
And so the words linger in her mind,
Choked up inside her throat, never to be set free.
Loss of courage keeps her from saying the words.
Her heart drops at the thought of it.
Courage escapes her in and instant,
And so it will never be done.
She will suffer in silence.
Only hinting now and again.
Loss of courage denies her true love.
North, South, and In
Between
Andrea Jane Currier
Somewhere south of the heart,
My soul shatters to pieces.
Somewhere north of the sadness,
I melt at every word you say.
Somewhere in between,
My mind feels every thought of you.
What is this world I entered?
I love you still.
After all soul mates are forever.
Shadows run and hide when we are together,
Firefairies dance around us in the moon light,
The world spins a little faster when you kiss me.
We Danced in Each Other
By Andrea Jane Currier
We danced in each other for
hours,
Feeling pure emotion.
Raw feelings just beneath the surface.
In days far away we dance,
The ocean far beneath us,
The mountains high above us,
The earth on our feet.
You complete my circle,
That which was missing,
Found again,
In an unsuspecting place.
I passed you once before,
A thousand times before.
I felt myself in you,
Sitting silently at times,
Dancing in joy at others.
You are solid to me,
You are real to me.
I can not touch you.
I can not feel you,
You are there.
We danced in each other for hours,
The moon over head,
A light mist all around us.
We danced for hours among angels.
