A friend is a person who listens, And talks when it's their turn. A person who with, through the years, You live, laugh, love, and learn. Someone who, when it counts, They're always by your side. And when you have a secret, It's in them you confide. A friend will never judge you, Or break a solemn swear. No matter how many fights occur, They always seem to care. A friend is there when you need them, They'll never let you down. And a friend will never fail, To make a smile from a frown.
