I'm sorry that I hurt you,
Sorry that I cared.
Sorry that I cherished,
All the time we shared.
I'm sorry that I can't take back,
All the things I've done.
Sorry that I couldn't make,
The times we had more fun. 
I'm sorry for the years we spent,
Working for the love.
That now today we realize,
Could only come from above.
I'm sorry that it didn't work,
The way we thought it should.
Sorry that I didn't make it,
The way I said I could.
