I take with me the memory of eyes that spoke of love
Of eyes that lit for me and no one else
And never will again

For when I died I took with me the source
Of that light so bright
I took with me the smile
I took your life's delight

But when I died I left with you all that was my heart
Never again will we be as one
Yet never be apart

I hold your smile, your loving eyes
You keep with you my heart
Two alone in separate lives, souls joined
Two souls that cannot part
It is bersheit
