Like The Wind

               You left like the wind.
               Damaging my spirit.
Honesty, are mere words in a foolish man's
               game.
A game you won by the way.
Kindness and caring can never be allowed again.
As it was all taken with a laugh and a sigh.
Who wins or losses isn't the point anymore.
For I'm no longer able to play.
How can I tell you how much you've hurt me?
That I feel humiliated and wounded?
               What does it matter?

                I've cried out of loneliness,
And I've ached as the emptiness overcomes me.

The wind left behind a little damage as it races
                through the cold night.
                It left behind me.
