In a heartbeat the fairy was down at the chest and had the lid open. There were several objects inside the chest and she sorted her way through them as best she could, kicking aside a flickering fire which started soaking into the sand and a one side coin which, unfortunately, landed with its one side down and ceased to exist. Next she uncovered a small furry animal like a kitten but with a big, round nose like a clown and long, floppy ears.
    Spindizzy sized the creature up. "What have we here?" she asked.
