Khmer letters are written in two major scripts; the slanted script and the rounded script.
The slanted script is commonly used for writing. The rounded script is for public signs, headings, titles of books, newspapers and magazines. The only literature I've seen that was written totally in the rounded script was a Buddhaist doctrine; with all the sacred texts.
The rounded script is a special script and it should not be over used. Use rounded script sparely.
If you look below at the slanted script and the rounded script, you'll see that most of the script are basically the same except for some that are really different.
