I don't know what kind of flower this is, but I do know that it looked really inviting with the dew drops sticking to the petals.  This was shot in the Norfolk Botanical Gardens in Norfolk, Virginia.

What's the Pollen Count? Here is yet another closeup of a flower.  This one was taken in the flower garden of the Colonial Governor's Palace in Williamsburg, Virginia.  Notice on the enlarged version the pollen clinging to the petals.

Sea of TulipsTaken at the same time and place as the last picture, this bed of tulips was approximately 50 yards long.  All of the flowers in the garden are supposed to be decendents of those origionally planted here by colonists in the 1700's.
