Julie Wohryzek, Kafka's second fiancee. Not much is known about their relationship, since Franz didn't write her lots of letters or write much in his diary about her. She was the daughter of a synagogue janitor and shoemaker, and Hermann Kafka was very much upset at the prospect of his son marrying so low. Franz would use this incident as one of the reasons for writing the "Letter to his Father." This engagement only lasted a few months; Franz broke it off at the last minute. He simply wasn't cut out for family life.
