If you listen to the voice, thinking things are
getting too weird, and go back to
your hotel. Go to #2
If you go ahead into the Opera, continue reading:
You shiver, pull your
coat closer and push the door to the Opera open. The foyer is completely
dark. You peer into the darkness and wonder if this some sort of hoax.
You were supposed to meet someone named Tatiana here about Phantom of the
Opera tickets. But there's no one here. Though the door is firmly shut,
a cold draft swirls in and grabs at your ankles. In your ear you hear,
"You've past the point of no return." Soft mocking laughter fills your
head, then leaves.
In the distance or you think it's the distance, you see a golden
ball of light. Suddenly you realize that the light is right in front of
you and that in the center of it is a girl no bigger than your hand. You
blink and shake your head, but you're not hallucinating. She's really there.
Fiery red hair falls softly around her shoulders to her small waist. Her
inquisitive blue eyes gaze at you wondering how you will react. Gossamer
wings beat in the still air with a slow grace. She is clad in a sleeveless
shirt made of rose petals and a skirt made of rose leaves. A belt of tree
bark holds a tiny dagger and her petite feet are wrapped into boots with
fur a rabbit shed. Her skin is a shimmering gold that drops golden dust
with every movement.
She smiles at you and says in voice that sound like tinkling
of crystal bells, "I'm so glad you made it. My name is Tatiana. Come with
me."
If you go with Tatiana, follow the pixie dust to #3
If you think the room service boy spiked your Perrier, continue
reading:
You whirl around and try to open the door, but it's locked. You turn back to the fairy, wide eyed. You hear that same laughter again this time a little louder.
You've past the point of no return. Abandon all hope ye who have entered
and continue on to #3.
