You quickly leave the Opera. You do not stop looking over your shoulder until you safely reach your hotel room and lock the door. You sink into a nearby chair and take a book out of your bag. You settle down to read The Phantom of the Opera, trying to convince yourself that meeting Tatiana in a dark Opera wasn't a good idea. Now you'll never get to see the Phantom at the Paris Opera House. You'll never meet your beloved Erik or your Angel of Music, Michael Crawford. Too bad for you. That's what you get for playing it safe.
