Alive

THE TWO, THERE THEY STAND, ONE HAND IN ANOTHER.
THE SHADOWS, PULL AT HER, THEIR FINGERNAILS DUG DEEP.
SHE'S STRUGGELING, HE'S PULLING.
THE SHADOWS PUSH AT HIM (LAUGHING AND TANTING).
THERE IS SOME KIND OF COMFORT IN THE OLD.
THAT BLOTTED, GRAY OLD MAN.
FOR THE CHANGE OF THE NEW HAS FEARS.
REPITION DRIVES YOU MAD.
MAD YOU'VE GONE.
WHERE WILL SHE GO WITHOUT HER DARK CLOTHES.
WHEN CAN SHE WEAR THE TRANSITION.
HE'S NAKED WITH TEARS IN SCREAMING SILENCE.
AWAKE DEAR.
AWAKEN MY SWEET, THE LIGHT
IS BEFORE US.
THE TWO, THERE THEY STAND, ONE HAND IN ANOTHER.
THE SHADOWS DECLAWED.
HEARTS ARE UNFURLED.
LOUD AND ALIVE WITH COLOR.
I WILL NOT SHAKE IN THINE EYES.
THE LIPS OF MY SPIRIT SWELL.
MY FIX IS YOUR DELIGHT.
HUM I HUM THIS STUNE FOR ME AND YOU.
ALIVE I CRY.
I SAID ALIVE I CRY.
IN THIS LIGHT.
