GRANADA
In Granada is the Alhambra complex--the Alhambra itself, the Charles V Palace, and the Generalife (the summer palace). Arabs, who began conquering Spain in 711, built the first and last. Charles V (1st of Spain) of the Holy Roman Empire tore down part of the Alhambra in the 16th century to build his own palace, one he never finished.
From the terrace of the Alhambra complex, one could see Granada.
