Hardwick Hall

The Hall built in the 16th century by for Bess of Hardwick and designed by Robert Smythson contains many pieces of furniture, tapestries and needlework from that century. There are beautiful orchards, fine gardens and a wonderful herb garden. As you will know immediately when you see it, because of it's superb upkeep and management, it is a National Trust property. | ||

Open
every day from 30th March to the end of October. House opens Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays 12.30pm - 5.00pm Garden open the same as the house. Last admissions 4.30pm |

6.5miles from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and 9.5miles south east of Sheffield. M1 exit junction 29. Buses from Sheffield and Notttingham. Nearest railway station Glapwell and walk. | ||
