By way of introduction to the picture pages which I have called

VARIATIONS ON A THEME


How is it possible to get from the pictures done of me by Michelle and Claire to the final versions produced by Heather and Jodee ...?
 
Well, first of all, take it from me I do not know the ins and outs of the software needed to do this kind of wizardry! But what I do know is that the artists who have done the work for me are extremely talented girls! And generous! Because they have done it without asking for anything in return! Though it goes without saying that their handiwork will be acknowledged on the picture pages (with their permission, of course)!

For various reasons (many of them too sensitive and painful to go into here) I decided that rather than show a whole album of pictures of me in various outfits and poses, I would adopt an entirely fresh - and I hope, unique - approach to my photo pages. I decided that my photo pages would be a place to showcase the undeniable talents of my friends ...... and, I most warmly thank those friends who have already contributed so generously.

What I chose to do was this. I would make available a HUGE copy of a single photo of me (this is a reduced version of the photo below) to anyone who wanted it. Well, with some  provisos of course! The artists were then given carte blanche to come up with acceptable (i.e. not porno, sicko, etc.) pictures using my head as the departure point. My pose is, I know, a difficult one;  the angle is odd and the backlighting dark ... but this I think adds to the challenge.And my INVITATION to any budding artists (and preferably they should be people I know) is to email me if you want to see what you can do with my picture and I'll send you something to work with ..... and if I like what you do with it, I'll gladly add your efforts to my picture pages.
