I studied at Washington State University, U.S.A. I graduated with the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration in December 1998. My uni offers this degree program at their satellite campus in Brig, Switzerland. It is a joint degree with the International College of Hotel Administration (ICHA) that recently changed its name to University Center of Brig (UCCR).

OK,what else? I am currently in London - and I wanna stay here for quite some time because I very much enjoy the place.
The following is some information about my professional life. If that bores you to death, click here, otherwise read on:
So, here the boring stuff anyway... I worked at the Radisson SAS Portman Hotel as an F&B Trainee beginning of 1999. My duties there were to work in the restaurant and compile a training manual for the department according to that staff will be trained. Once I was done with the manual itself, it was also partly my responsibility to train staff myself. I meanwhile moved on to another hotel because I didn't enjoy working at the Radisson too much. I now work at the Forum Hotel London since May 1999. I started off as a reservation agent for this 910 room hotel. In October 1999 I got promoted to Business Partnership Co-ordinator. After going through a systems change end of May 2000, I then got promoted again in June 2000. I am now Reservations Supervisor, and that is good fun. :o)
When I am not working I enjoy London together with my friends: cafés, pubs (on and off the scene... i the West End places like The Yard, Village, Rupert St, Ku Bar), restaurants (and yeah! there are lovely ones around my house in Notting Hill), cinemas, clubs (Heaven, Limelight or G.A.Y) etc. are our targets in the evenings and on the weekends.
In case you wanna know something more about me and my past -- read on...
I am open and out since Febuary 1997. My parents and sisters (I have two of them) know about me. I had my Outing in January 1998. I am extremely happy that they all reacted quite positive, and now all are able to openly talk about it with me or their friends and partners. Many of my friends know that I am gay, and again, most of them reacted just great! I can only say that the outing changed a lot in my life. I can now be myself, I don't have to hide anymore, and act as I feel. One of the best things that I have ever done :o))
I was born in May 1976 in a little town called Weiden, in the Northern part of Bavaria in Germany. I grew up in a nearby village where I basically lived all my life. In my youth I joined the local fire brigade (for the fun, and also the cute guys). In 1995 I finished high school with the German Abitur. After that I immediately started with a civil service job as a replacement for the in Germany required year in the army. During 15 months I was driver of an ambulance car at the Bavarian Red Cross in Weiden. I also became paramedic in the course of that service. When I was done with that I decided to go on a long vacation (October till December 1996): I went for a trip to Singapore, Sydney, New Zealand and Hong Kong (some pics of that trip are in the gallery!). In January 1997 then I came to Brig, Switzerland, to commence my hotel-management studies. Yeah, I made it! Out of my little village in Germany, into a little, peaceful town in Canton Wallis in the southern part of Switzerland. Not much was going on there - especially for gays - but at least it is a beautiful place on earth. The town is surrounded by mountains, just 20 mins to the ski fields, 1 hour to Italy or Montreux, 2 hours to Milano, Lausanne or Bern, 3 hours to Zurich or Geneva. However, these surroundings gave me time to think, reorganize my life and find myself. After two semesters there at ICHA I decided to change to our partner college in Sydney, Australia. In September 1997 I started a one-semester exchange program at ICTHM in Sydney. I enjoyed this exciting metropolis, the beaches... Oxford Street provided the best base I could think of for gay nightlife. Bars, cafés, pubs, discotheques - everything I ever dreamt of was there... Everything? - Yes, because I also found my first boyfriend, Annas, there. He was a student at the same college, and we had a wonderful time together. I never felt this much love and care before in my life. Unfortunately, I had to leave Australia again just before Xmas '97. Then in January '98 I went back to Switzerland again for my degree studies... Nevertheless, Annas and I carried on. In May 1998 I flew down to Sydney just to be with him for 3 weeks. We managed to have an absolutely fantastic time despite the long distance pretty much until the end in August 1998.
My second boyfriend: Also a very special person in my life... we came together in September 1998. His name is Mo and he lives in London, too. Unfortunately this relationship only lasted 8 months...
Hm, are you still not bored or asleep??? Well, then I will have to carry on...
After quite some time of recovery from that last bf, I started to enjoy my single l her gay guys, and it is really nice... even peaceful and quiet. Been out a lot in London over the last few months, went up to Edinburgh for a weekend, etc... My last major holiday, once again, was spent in Sydney, where I was over Xmas 99. I had a great time... Saw my old friends and enjoyed the well-known environment. Christmas was kinda weird though, as I am used to snow and cold, rather than shorts and beach, but hey! :o)
Well, and the year 2000 so far has been a year of many new people in my life, coming and going... some became good friends - a big thank you to them!!!
To be continued....
