Body’s Problems … Revealed in 20 Minutes
A
new equipment is in town, all the way from America.
It is claimed to accurately assess the stress blueprint of the body and
prescribe an appropriate remedy. For
those who wish to ascertain once and for all, their well-being, Bodyscan 2010
could just help. ADETUTU KOYI reports.
Bodyscan 2010, America’s latest complementary medicine
diagnostic equipment which reveals the body’s physiological, hormonal and
behavioral imbalances, in addition to pin pointing bacterial infection and vital
mineral deficiencies, has been introduced to Nigeria, its first port of call in
Africa. This obvious technological
breakthrough is based on the twin-concept of Bioenergetics and Vibrational
medicine. Bionetics, Biofeedback or
Bionenergetics, as it is called, is simply the science of communicating with the
human body through electrical impulses and non-cognitive biofeedback of the
body. This means assessing the
body’s response to stress and other internal (external as well), physiological
imbalances (that may exist at that time) and at the same time choosing from over
6000 substances in 52 categories, including homeopathy, foods, herbs, trees,
mineral supplements, dental materials, amino acids, sarcoder (protoplasm,
fleshlike substance, especially that of a unicellular animal), flower essences,
chemicals, bacteria and many others, (of things that could go wrong).
As Bionetics is the precursor of Bodyscan 2010 upon which
the concept is based, Body scan 2010 is claimed to open a window
into the body, very much like the internet and the world, just as if we are
looking at (the body’s) inner working and all of the behind-the-scene
activities. Indeed, bionetics is
simply an exciting process of asking the body what it needs!
Essentially, Bodyscan 2010 is claimed to map out the stress
blueprint of the body, identifying specific imbalances which hitherto may be
unknown. It works like this: Several
electrical nodes (albeit padded) are strapped onto the wrists, midfinger, the
ankles and the head, with the equipment itself electrically connected.
By monitoring the body’s response to electrical
impulse(s) and messages, as graphically displayed on the (laptop) screen, energy
demands are determined which assists the practitioner in establishing a
treatment protocol. Actually, the
test results creates a highly accurate picture of the body’s stress pattern
and is believed to accurately identify the various causes of the (body’s)
imbalances.
This in itself, is a dynamic approach to healthcare
because the whole procedure is “as if the body and the equipment are in
discourse,” according to Ms. Titilayo Oduye.
Titi Oduye, iridologist and chemist, whose consultancy practice, Amelia’s Radiant
Health Consultancy on 62, Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, brought in the
equipment, says that besides, Bodyscan 2010 has the capacity to
measure the effectiveness of medications, vitamins and minerals:
“People who have been sick for a long time often don’t have the
capacity to digest certain nutritional supplements and are actually allergic to
others (although ignorantly).” Bodyscan, as it can assess the various imbalances,
deficiencies and allergies, is also said to be capable of testing the system’s
compatibility with the remedies prescribed.
According to Oduye, the Bodyscan 2010 “can determine the correct
therapy and required dosage.”
Thus,
for the users, the equipment is claimed to offer five benefits. It helps to:
Prevent
disease and enhances the immune system;
- Arrest
or reverse an existing meridian, imbalance/disease;
- Prolong
life;
- Improve
the quality of life and
develop a person’s overall potential
| With
the Bodyscan, the test is conducted in three stages.
As observed, the first step is that with the straps on, the
equipment scans and analyses what may have gone wrong (or what
hasn’t as the case may be) and in the process prescribes remedies.
Step two involves a proper check of the remedies, to ascertain
the compatibility of the remedies with the organs of the body.
The third stage is the preparation of the prescription through
an imprinter.
Moreover, Oduye explains the two-fold parts to the equipment;
“Part one entails identifying those health issues of
particular interest or concern so that the appropriate test can be
done. Some of the issues
might be food or other allergies, toxicity due to chemicals,
pesticides, metabolic functioning, hormones, structural or
physiological problems, emotional or mental issues or
physiological/emotional stress to name just a few options.
Then, with the use of a biofeedback harness, the equipment
assesses the various imbalances resulting in a detailed report.
“The second part involves testing if the remedies, as
prescribed by Bodyscan will work for that body.
A sharp-pointed acupressor, a pointed, pen-like instrument, is
applied onto the left hand and a message is transmitted, graph-like
onto the screen.
Actually,
at this stage, utilization of the information received from Bodyscan
is needed” to identify the correct homeopathic/isopathic (using the
nosode of the disease to treat the disease unlike homeopathy which
uses like to treat like) remedies which will be used to assist the
body to re-establish balance and homeostatis, according to Oduye, who
is also the director of Amelias.
The third step is imprinting. After the scanning and test- compatibility of remedies are
conducted, preparation of the remedy is done with an imprinter.
This imprinter really is an equipment which is connected to the
Bodyscan, has a round opening towards the rear where the
preparation is placed and imprinting done.
Again, Oduye explains how the imprinter works.
“Imprinting procedure involves putting the “receiving”
battle of homeopathic remedy into the “well” (a small hole really)
of an electrical device appropriately called an imprinter.”
She adds:“Since
there are no chemicals to transfer or mix, energy can be transferred
from bottle to bottle on computer safeware to bottle through
electrical energy without opening the bottles.
It is not necessary to physically open the bottles and mix one
liquid without another.
“It isn’t uncommon for a patient with multiple conditions
to need several remedies. So
with the imprinter, an individual needing about five- 15 remedies can
be helped with the imprinter.”
The essence of Bodyscan according to Oduye, is that
“by providing a direct and unprecedented communications link with
the body, it allows for early detection of functional imbalance long
before manifestation of physical symptoms”.
Bioenergetics, the concept upon which Bodyscan was
created, can be traced to research studies by a German physician, Dr.
Voll, one-half of a century ago, Oduye says.
With Bioenergetical testing, Oduye maintains that the patient
is able to determine the efficiency of the immune and the lymphatic
systems, has blood cleansing capacity and balance of energy in their
meridians. Oduye says
that, although this technology has been in use in Europe 20 years ago,
“some aspects of it have been in use for nearly 50 years”. Furthermore, Bodyscan 2010 is also based upon the
Einstenian paradigm, which is called vibrational medicine.
Oduye explains the correlation between the two:
“Human beings are seen as a network of complex energy fields
that interface with physical/cellular systems.
Vibrational medicine uses specialized forms of energy to
positively affect the those energetic systems that may be out of
balance due to disease states. By
rebalancing the energy fields that help to regulate cellular
physiology, attempts are being made to restore order from a higher
level of human functioning.
“Through his famous equation, E=MC2, Albert
Einstein proved to scientists that energy and matter are dual
expressions of the same universal substance.
Since humans are beings of energy, therefore vibrational
medicine treats with pure energy.
Vibrational medicine is Einstenian medicine, since it is
Einsteinian equation that gives us the key insight towards
understanding that energy and matter are one and the same thing.”
So far, for the equipment and its concepts, the litmus test was
to verify the equipments’ claims. For the test, a patient was sought. Alas! The only other person present, during the course of the
interview, was the reporter.
With the straps on, the test was conducted, and it lasted about
25 minutes. The result?
– a particular behavioral pattern (indicated through the flower
essence) was assessed and a remedy prescribed!
Also, the reporter’s joint problems (which was sprained some
few weeks back), a thymus infection, inadequate protein level among
others were pinpointed by the equipment.
Although 82 pieces of the equipment exists worldwide and one of
those in the country, Oduye says the manufacturer recommend a two-year
training period before handling of the equipment can be granted.
Bodyscan 2010 may unravel to you, just who you really truly
are!
