Hand Coloring

Hand Coloring was my 12th photo project.  For this project we were required to take our black and white photographs and give them realistic color by coloring them, by hand, with oil paints.

This is the first picture I tried to color. You may notice some of the coins are translucent, that's because I used the same technique I discussed earlier in the Flash Photography Page.
A pic of me!
This was my second attempt, it turned out a little better, but still not quite realistic.  This is one of my self-portraits from my 1st semester.
FOOD!!!
I love this picture!  I had a lot of fun coloring it, because a lot of people complained that it made them hungry just looking at it!
:-)
$$$ MONEY $$$
Another great pic!  Greedy, but good.  (Yes that's real $ in the pic!)  You may notice that part of the $100 bill shows through my finger, that's because I accidentally printed on both sides of the paper.

Please pardon the line that runs across the pic.  This was originally a 16x20 photo, so I had to scan it in sections.  Unfortunately I lost 2 of them, but I'll post the full pic when I get it rescanned.

A Beautiful Night!
That's my front porch.  My mom had a cow when she saw me putting those candles in her plants. hehe :)
Blue Angel
I call this one Blue Angel, its probably my favorite picture so far.
Where's Kurt?
Unfortunately this scan doesn't do the picture justice.  This piece is basically a reaction to my ex-boyfriend, Kurt, who never seemed to be around.  The cd, the box of chocolates and the cards are all the things he gave me.  The notes I put on top of them are, in a way, my responses to those gifts.
