there is a place
where flowers have been
forgotten
the land
laid to waste in the depths
of shadow stars
that fill the eastern land
of fabled pearls
for the flowers
were forgotten
their humble meanings lost
kept only
by the butterflies
that will fly
in a starry night
of dreams
that tell their tales
of metamorphic reasons
to give birth
to the hope
for the flowers

and these tales
