I started writing poetry in the middle of an English Grammar class when I was a freshman in high school. It seemed the best thing to do at the time, since I found the teacher boring. I ended writing whenever I was bored in class, any class. It was better than talking to your seatmate, since it was a one-person show. No chances of getting into to trouble. Usually...
 

I was part of our high school yearbook and did the prologue and epilogue. Of course when I look back on them, I'm thinking, geez, I need to work on this a bit more. Ahh, the things we do when were young.

Unfolding is a poem I wrote when I was thinking about some friends of mine.

Sleep is not an option is a poem a wrote after a long dry spell. Almost a year to be exact. It finally cured my insomnia. Sort of.
