Day 5Josh and Jake in front of the back side of Venus de Milo. They took the picture from the back (not for the reason you think) because there was terrible lighting from the front...honest. |
Day 6Josh and Jake in front of Mont Saint Michel in Northwest France. Although it looks like a fort, it is actually a monistary that was finally established in 966. Saint Michel instructed Bishop Aubert to build the chapel in 708, but it took him a while to get around to it. |

Day 7This is the WWII American Cemetery and monument on Omaha Beach. Here lies the remains of 9,387 servicemen and women (307 Unknown) that were killed in the line of duty at Normandy. The monument also contains a garden of the missing which includes a wall with the names 1,557 missing in action. |
Day 8Josh and Jake in Plumereau Square, an area in Old Town Tours filled with Renaissance Architecture where brick and wood was more popular than stone. This square is filled with college students from the University in Tours, many caf�s, and excellent pastry shops. |
