The Song of the Lioness Quartet:
Alanna, the first adventure. This is the first book of the series where you are introduced to Alanna. It is absolutely brilliant. You get to know her and the other characters like your own friends. Alanna is the main character of the book and is a real heroine. The tale begins at her first year of training as a page, disguised as a boy. Join her as she fights immortals, battles her tormenter and laugh at the scrapes she has with her friends. I recommend this book to anyone, infact I give it 10/10
In the hands of the Goddess. Alanna has become the Prince's squire, even though he discovered her secret, but hers is not the only secret discovered. After she is knighted Alanna must face her fear and destroy it, before it desroys her and all those close to her. This also gets 10/10
The woman who rides like a man. Alanna has vanquished her foe, her feminity was revealed, but she was allowed to keep her shield. She has left court and become a Bazhir warrior, but made herself an enemy, a shaman who daily cries for her death. Like the other 2 this gets 10/10
Lioness Rampant The final book in the series. New characters are introduced who play a vital role in the outcome. Alanna travels through legends and fables to bring back the Dominion Jewel, which benefits any nation who holds it. Alanna finally finds someone she loves enough to marry, and most important of all, Alanna's greatest enemy has been resurrected by her own brother- only trouble can follow.
All the books in this series get 10/10 as they are the best books I have ever read, I hope you feel the same!
