BRONCOS/COCA-COLA CHALLENGES
From Brisbane Broncos’ Development Manager, John Dixon

WIDE BAY
The most significant aspect of the Wide Bay competitions was
the joint cooperation between the QRL Wide Bay Division and
the Broncos, to combine the longstanding Pioneer Concrete
and Keith Gibbs Shields with the Broncos/Coca-Cola Challenges.
Also introduced was a year 8 competition, the Ian ‘Bunny’ Pearce Memorial Shield.
This joint effort has rationalised school-based football in the Wide Bay region,
and hopefully has enhanced the relative merits of each competition.

For finals results see 'Wide Bay Report'
