During the four days of the Wynnum Opens the battling North West team
never stopped trying, as this picture shows. However they were no match
for the power of teams like Metro North, who won this day one encounter 52-0
Despite finishing the carnival last overall, North West can hold their
heads high as worthy ambassadors for their region.
