Glenn Danzig

Glenn Danzig was Misfits singer and songwriter, as well as contributing with guitar, bass, keyboard, piano, and drums while recording albums. Glenn graduated from Lodi High School in 1973 and was in several bands before forming The Misfits. He left/broke up the true Misfits in 1983, but immediately formed Samhain with Eerie Von, at the time Misfits photographer. Glenn later changed the band name Samhain to Danzig and have just recently released the bands 6th album, Satans Child 6:66

Jerry Only
Bassist 1977-1983
Born: 4/21/59
Introduced to Glenn Danzig by Manny, joined Misfits in 1977. When the Misfits broke up in 1983, Only formed Kryst The Conqueror after the Misfits with his brother Doyle. They later brought back The Misfits (without Glenn).

Manny Drummer 1977
Born: ??
Played in a number of unknown bands before introducing Jerry and Glenn in March of 1977. Drummed on the Cough/Cool 7" single and at the band's first few shows.

Franch� Coma
Guitarist 1977-1978
Born: 8/17/57
Played guitar with Mike Morance in 1974 (a special acetate/single). Joined The Misfits in the fall of 1977, as their first guitarist. All of Franch�'s guitar work with the band was recorded in January of 1978 during the Static Age sessions. Left the band in November of 1978 and went on to play guitar for Active Ingredients.

Mr. Jim
Drummer 1977-1978
Born: 1/5/54
Mr. Jim replaced Manny in the fall of 1977 and remained in the band until November of 1978. Used to play with Glenn in a band called "Whodat And Boojang" before he joined The Misfits. Went to Continental Crawler, and later on joined The Adults and Aces And Eights.

Rick Riley

Rick replaced Franch� Coma for two Misfits shows in 1978. Rick is also the only non-Glenn Danzig band ever to release an album on Plan Records. He later joined Mr. Jim at Aces And Eights.

Joined The Misfits in November of 1978, drummed for both the "Horror Business" and "Night Of The Living Dead" sessions of '79. In December of '79, after the band's aborted tour of England with The Damned, he left the band. Joined The Whorelords. Currently he plays for Human Buffet.

Bobby Steele

Born: 3/18/56
Auditioned for The Misfits in 1978 (Nov), nine days later he played his first show with the band. Bobby was replaced by Jerry's younger brother Doyle in October 1980. He then formed The Undead, who opened for The Misfits on 12/17/81 (Evilive was recorded that night). previous bands Bobby used to play for includes Parrotox, Slash, The Skabs, The Whorelords, Mourning Noise, Sloppy Seconds, The Migraines, and The Graveyard School. Bobby Steele has also appeared in several movies.

Arthur Googy

Joined the band in April of 1980 and remained until April of 1982 when he left after an argument with Glenn. After The Misfits, Arthur joined Antidote.

Doyle

Born: 9/15/64
Joined The Misfits in October of 1980, but was playing with the band much earlier. His first show with The Misfits was on Halloween of 1980 when he was just 16 years old.

Todd Swalla
Drummer 1982/1983
Born:???
Played drums at two Misfits shows (6/25/82 and 10/29/83) when The Misfits were having drummer problems. His current band is Streamlined.

Robo
Drummer 1982-1983
Born:???
Joined The Misfits during the summer of 1982, he came from another legandary band, Black Flag. He left the band in August of 1983 because he couldn't handle Glenn anymore.

Brian Damage Keats
Drummer 1983
Born: 2/11/63
Joined the band in October 1983, after Robo left. Only got to play one show (Detroit, Halloween 1983) (to be exact he only managed to play one song) which turned out to be the band's final show with Glenn. After the first song, Brian (who was drunk) was replaced for the rest of the show by Todd Swalla.
