A well built but outdated bedroom suite. The clients wanted the furniture to match the newly repainted and papered bedroom. I grained all of the pieces with similar beige and purple tones. So similar, that the graining is hardly noticeable. The routed edges - striped in a Hunter green. The carved floral detail is high lighted with paint. I also painted the hardware.

When this piece came to me it was raw wood, obviously handmade. I gave it a whimsical blue wood grain with burnt orange striping. I replaced the glass in the upper doors and etched a floral motif on to the glass. I repeated the same floral motif on the bottom doors with paint.

These fun pieces are my version of a green patina. The client wanted these new pieces to match each other to go on an outside deck. I exaggerated the patina to give a presence to the finished pieces.

Two separate pieces for two different clients. One was unfinished wood to which I gave a soft mottled green finish. The other was a bland Danish Modern piece that wound up looking like something from Great Grandmother.

This is where I had some fun! The lamps were all trash day finds. Refinished to give them a new life. The guitars are from the days I hung out with musicians. I've done many guitars and even a drum kit but have, unfortunately, lost or never took pictures.
