This client rehabbed a semidetached house. I put together a color / finish scheme for his living room and dining room. The front door is steel. The floors are hardwood. The walls are plaster. Cherry wood graining on the door. Marble with granite inlay in front of the door. Backgammon board inlay floor and suede walls in the dining room.
This client bought out her boss's realty company. She wanted her new office to reflect her personality. Out with the beige and in with the purple. From her carpet and upholstery swatches, I pulled amethyst and grape for the walls. I divided the 9' walls into two sections. The bottom is sueded in grape and topped with amethyst.
This is a friend's apartment. It was run down and unappealing inside. I went a bit wild with this one. The metal cabinets became butt-joined pine and the hardware, wrought iron. The Formica counter is now a slab of granite. The plain back wall is now airbrushed to look like brick.
This page shows various pieces of furniture I have brought back to life with faux finishing. Also includes lamps and mirrors. Most of the pieces shown here were in sad shape before the Liquid Image touch!
