A new convention in the Reno area. BAAS will provide a full-fledged 24 hour animation theater showing the latest commercial anime from both the US and Japan. BAAS will be holding a raffle for unique prizes and giving discussion panels on anime for parents, anime fandom, cel painting, and how anime industry works.
We are currently looking for several volunteers to help staff this event and can provide crash space at the hotel and membership to the convention in return. If you are interested, please send e-mail to [email protected].

After a long absence, the Bay Area Animation Society has been selected to provide anime programming for Northern California's largest science fiction and fantasy convention! Programming will be run on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 PM until 7 AM. BAAS will be looking for a few volunteers to assist in the staffing of this event and can provide a membership to the convention in return.
