COMPANY OVERVIEW

Founded in 1990, Envision Development Corporation helped Fortune 1000 companies re-engineer business processes by designing and developing custom client-server business application solutions. This early phase built up skills in application development, systems integration, database technology, and the design of complex information systems. Envision gained extensive experience in advising and providing information technology solutions across a broad spectrum of industries including technology, manufacturing, financial services, heath-care, and distribution type companies.

In 1995, Envision began to focus on the nascent Internet Commerce market. At this time Internet websites were generally characterized as static-oriented, "Brochure-Ware" solutions, and the industry was dominated by "Web Design Shops" and Advertising Firms. Envision expected that corporate executives would demand more from the Internet than what Brochure-Ware offered, and that true Internet Commerce would result in transforming a company’s operations into the Internet Economy of the 21^st Century.

OVERVIEW OF PRODUCTS/SERVICES

Envision believes three competencies are critical for providing leadership eBusiness services:

1.  Internet Business Consulting

Building on its Information Systems consulting experience, Envision added services for Internet Strategy Definition and Planning, Peer Web Audits, Internet Advisory Services. These services complete the Internet Business Consulting Competency.

2.  Internet Technologies

Recognizing that planning and implementing an Internet Initiative does not guarantee an optimal website, Envision’s core competencies in application development, system integration, and database technology provided one half of the Internet Technology Competency: Back-End/Server Enablement.

In 1995 Envision expanded its technical capabilities in the Internet development domain to include Front-End/Browser Development including HTML presentation and web-enabled graphic development. Both Front-End/Browser Development and Back-End/Server Enablement completed the Internet Technology Competency.

3.  Web-Integrated Marketing

Recognizing that planning and implementing an Internet Initiative does not guarantee optimal website traffic, Envision created industry leading services to help organizations better market and position their Internet website presence.
