Tools for Commerce Web Site Developers

Commerce web site developers can programmatically integrate OrderTrust’s services into their commerce solution through the OrderTrust Developer’s ToolSet and LinkSet families of connectivity products.

OrderTrust Developer's ToolSet

The ToolSet provides the means for developers to connect to the OrderTrust Order Processing Network and procure services programmatically. The ToolSet includes a set of libraries (DLL’s for Windows/NT, or shareable libraries for Unix/Solaris), user documentation, and example programs. A  COM object interface is supported for Windows/NT; a C++ interface is supported for Unix/Solaris.

The Toolset addresses two basic problems:

• the mechanics of establishing a communications link with the appropriate security options to send and receive data
• the data format and content required for specific services or combinations of services

The ToolSet is comprised of two component modules (SDKs) - Order and Payment - which correspond to OrderTrust’s services.

The Order SDK supports:

• Conveyance (of Orders with Payment information)
• Update (of order status)
• Query (for order status)

The Payment SDK supports:

• Authorization
• Deposit
• Refund
• Retrieval (of status information)

OrderTrust Partner LinkSet Products

The LinkSet family of products provides "plug-in " links for specific commerce servers. These products substantially reduce the time required to integrate to OrderTrust services.

OrderTrust Link for Microsoft Site Server

The OrderTrust Link for Microsoft Site Server supports version 3.0 of the Site Server product. The Microsoft Site Server Link provides Component Object Model (COM) components that can be used in the server’s Order Processing Pipeline (OPP). The Microsoft Link provides order, payment, and fraud components for the Pipeline. You can create customized order-processing workflows by adding, removing, and reconfiguring these components.
