This is a view of the ONLY beach on Saba, which is very small, and virtually inaccessible from land. You can see from here how steeply the land rises from the ocean, leaving it almost impossible to land anywhere on the island by boat. The island even has a very short runway, which goes from one cliff to another, about the length of an aircraft carrier (WITHOUT the hooks!)
