The wind is brushing through my hair
Like a wild fire,
The tide is going out
With my desire,
Waves come sweeping in
With fierce intentions,
Streaks of blue come crashing down
The sky bows before the ground,
Billowing thunders echo in the heavens,
No longer the lull before the storm
Trees dancing with the wind
Their naked branches curtseying before the pitch night
Blackened leaves floating down like cylindrical spheres
Landing clumsily on the moistened earth
Black luminous clouds,
Blanketing the midnight sky
Stinging pellets of water,
Salty, warm;
Swiftly drilling through the earth
Providing nourishment,
Essence Life
A soft blanket of fog encompasses the night,
The sickening sweet smell
Only Mother Nature gives,
A sweet musty air filling my lungs
The rain has passed,
The clouds float away,
As swift as they had come
Thunder quieting with each passing moment
A Rainbow of soft hues
Arches in the sky
The end has come
The storm has passed
Leaving only puddles and a warm summer breeze
In its path
