Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, Monica Belluz took an interest in art at an early age and went on to develop her skills at the university level.

Concentrating on painting, drawing and displays, she has participated in many group exhibitions in and around Thunder Bay. A selection of her prints and cards are on sale at various shops in the city as well as here.

Monica has also been teaching art since 1997 and welcomes new students. She works well with both children and adults.

Her artistic talents have been utilized at the Thunder Bay Museum where she has created artwork and put together displays for the gallery's permanent exhibits. She is also involved with the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition -- Creative Arts and has exhibited for the past 13 years winning several prizes for her artwork and crafts.

She enjoys expanding the public's appreciation of art. Watch for a display of her work on the second floor of Thunder Bay's airport terminal.
